Mini workouts are a great place to start if you’re pressed for time and prefer to exercise from home. When performed several times a day, researchshows that these regular ‘exercise snacks’2 are just as effective as one single workout for overall fitness, when equal amounts of time are devoted to exercise during a day. 

Here is a series of downloadable mini workouts for you to try during your busy day. Most of these programs are suitable for newcomers to regular exercise and are perfect if you want to exercise at home.

Exercise at Home | Basic fit Series

BASIC hit Series

This workout series focuses on two muscle groups and improves your overall resistance to fatigue.

Duration: 2 – 3 minutes

Sequence: A pair of 2 exercises performed for 30-45 seconds each, and repeated 

Rest period: None

Exercise at Home | Quick fit Series

QUICK fit Series

This series targets different muscle groups and generates surprisingly deep strength and fitness benefits.

Duration: 1.5 – 3 minutes

Sequence: A set of 4 simple exercises performed for 20 – 45 seconds each

Rest period:  None

Exercise at Home | Rep fit Series

REP fit Series

This workout series focuses on two areas of your body and builds endurance.

Duration: 4 minutes

Sequence: A pair of 2 exercises performed for 20-30 seconds each, and repeated 4 times

Rest period: 10 seconds between exercises
